Haven't done any Access2k coding for a while so bear with me..

I'm attempting to write a simple procedure but my first declaration:

Code:
Dim db as Database

gives me the error "User defined type not defined".

What elementary thing am I missing here please
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Try DAO.Database, if it's still not working go to Tools > References & ensure your DAO reference is checked.

Nigel, Sharon's on it. But, I'd like to say that the only stupid question is one that is asked without trying to figure it out for yourself first. Ann

DOH! As simple as that.
Thanks a lot.
Nigel.
