I connect to an E450 running Solaris 8 via a Real VNC client on a Sony Vaio laptop. Everything works fine except the at (@) key doesn't register in the X windows. The @ key works normally in windows so the keyboard is not at fault. The at key works fine on other computers (Dell PCs) that access the server via vnc so vnc cannot be at fault. I've checked the key map using xmodmap -pke and "keycode 32 = apostrophe at". I've even changed keycode 19 to = 2 at, but still cannot get an @ on the command line.
Does anyone have any hints on what to try next?
Cheers,
Andrew
