I need to run some remote at jobs on a bunch of windows 2000 Servers. AT Jobs run under the system account, however i need to have them run under a different user account is there a way of doing this ????? I have tried using runas but you are prompted for a password, there is no way of passing a password through.

Cheers

Schedule the task via the task scheduler instead of using AT. It will let you specify the account to use to run the task.

You cant command line task schedular under windows 2000 only 2003 and xp ...

To run an "AT" job under a different account to that of system account, go to scheduled tasks. Click on Advanced then AT Service Account. Here you can specify what account should be used to run "AT" jobs.

Hope it helps...

Thanks.. Only issue i have is i would have to do this on 200 Servers i found a nice tool an altered version of runas.exe to get round it

Thanks
