AT&T Powermate paging amplifier

Does anyone know how to make an ATT powermate amp work with an Avaya Partner system?
All the documentation indicates that this unit is specifically made for the Merlin systems?
Should there be an adapter?

what release of Partner system do you have?
THe merlin uses a trunk port for paging and the new R7 also, in that case just treat them equal and hope for the best.

It is an r4.
I found a pagepal in the stock room and it made it work.
