We have copper lines in a number of our offices that are used for alarm systems, backup faxes, and failover lines for our phone system. Most of those lines are with AT&T, who has become a nightmare to deal with and they seem to increase their rates every month. Does anyone know of a good alternative company to work with? I'm guessing they will mostly be a reseller of AT&T.

Thanks

This is a geography-centric question - it's a big world out there with many many great and poor carriers. Ask your neighbor who they have and if they like the company. Or better yet, ask your phone system vendor, as they would likely be in the best position to understand and relate options.

Centurylink? Frontier Communications? I've had good luck with VOIP.MS, but they are pure SIP trunking. I still have my trusty analog line on my base BCM50 system.

DSL and the analog line kept going out a few months ago and ATT call center agents said it was my problem and I had to fix it. A technician came out anyways and discovered it was a CO issue. Way to communicate.

Ditching landline phone system can be difficult. While mobile phones can be a great alternative with number of advanced features, however there are few things that mobile phones just can't do it. VoIP technology can be a good option for replacing landline phone system. Using VoIP, it simply means that your phone calls are transmitted over the internet. But with so many VoIP provider, it may be difficult to understand, which one is right for you?

One of best option is The Real PBX, the leading US based VoIP provider ideal for all business professionals looking for VoIP services.

Try Goldline.. They operate all over the world and have great service. They can provide you with whatever services you need.

And no, I don't work for them or with them. I just know a lot of people who use them and have yet to hear anything negative about them.
