I purchased an AT&T Integrated Solutions III voice messaging system-4 port Audix voice mail system and Legend system SPM programming console on ebay to replace the 2 port voicemail I have (My old one is a Merlin Mail used with my Merlin Legend release 2.1 phone system). I don't have the foggiest idea how to install it except to look at how the old unit is installed. Also, I don't know how to operate it - it comes with a monitor and keyboard and when I power up it asks for the password which I don't know. The guy I bought it from said that the passwords were defaulted. How do I find the default password? Also, how is the best way to find manuals for it?

Avaya does not support that unit any longer. It also suffers from the y2k bug. You will more than likely have to keep resetting the date and time for 1987 or something like that. The calendar day of week has to match, just look back into the 1990's for a day that matches. you will have to rebuild all the mailboxes and greetings. I think the password for default was login: maint password: pizza. try that or craft, crftpw. sa,crftpw. don't remember any others. You can look on the avaya web site for audix voice power or is II or III.

Sorry, wish I could give you more info.

I forgot to ask anything about the login name - it asks for the login name and password, do you remember are they the same or are they different?
