Windows XP SP2
AT&T Global Network Client ver 6.4.1.300 (upgraded from 5.04.2)
Linksys WRT54G using WEP 64-bit & MAC filtering

Previous version of AT&T client I was able to connect with wireless and wired through my Linksys router at home. Upgraded the client and now I can connect only while directly wired to my router - if I try to connect by wireless (assuming that I have already obtained IP address by wireless connection and can browse the internet, AT&T client set to use existing connection) as soon as I launch the AT&T client it drops the wireless IP address and I cannot get it back. Once I launch the AT&T client, if I try to go to the wireless properties and view wireless networks I receive an error that Windows cannot configure the device - if I have another software program that can configure the device I should use that. But if I close the AT&T dialer, I can use the wireless card on my LAN just fine again.

Suggestions?

This worked fine until I upgraded last week.

Thanks

Hmmm no answer ... going to post to this again. Upon upgrading AT&T Global Network client, I am no longer able to access VPN through wireless. As soon as I launch the Global Network client, my wireless connection is dropped completely. I have tried shutting off firewalling at both the Windows level and the Linksys router.

I have tried a Windows2000 laptop with a PCMCIA wireless card, new AT&T client, works fine.

Any ideas? Something I'm missing? What port number does AT&T Global Network Dialer use? Should I put a line item in the Internet Connection network instance?

Please advise!
