ASUS A8V VM Onboard Graphics not working

Hello

I just built a computer
Athlon 64 3400
512 DDR
ASUS A8V VM motherboard with onboard graphics
160 HDD.

Its been about 2 months and suddenly the monitor doesn't recieve no signal. The computer comes on and you can open the DVD drive no display.

Any ideas how to test this?

Note: Everything was brand new except for the HDD and the RAM.

BTW the monitor is working cos i tried it on the laptop.

And the power supply?
Even with the DVD drive opening that would be my first guess.
