I hope this question isn't too stupid.

I just built a new computer and there is no place to install the SCSI card for the scanner. (ASTRA 610s) It's for the older slots, I can't remember their name.

Is there another way to connect it? Possibly a later model card I could use? Any way to use the LTP1 port? It really has been a good scanner and I hate to junk it.

BTW, windows 98seif it matters.

Thanks,
John

I just Realized I did not say it was a Umax scanner.

Thanks
John

You have an ISA SCSI card and you will need to purchase a "PCI" SCSI controller card for your new PC. (Unless your Mobo has an onboard SCSI controller). "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....." [idea]
