Hi, I have a sip trunk between a 3300 latest load and a asterisk server.

The mitel can pass calls to the asterisk no problems but when I try and pass these the other way i get a service unavailble message.

102 is the device that mitel is registered against in the sip.conf with type=friend.

and 1051 is a 5330 on the mitel.

I'm on a tight deadline to get this working asap so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have followed the guide on MOL.

Executing Dial("SIP/194.145.191.131-b7005f40", "sip/102/1051") in new stack
-- Called 102/1051
-- Got SIP response 503 "Service Unavailable" back from 192.168.1.2
-- SIP/102-09eedc70 is circuit-busy

Thanks

Kenny

I had not set the incoming trunk to dial in or non dial in.

Doing this fixed the issue.

Thanks

Kenny

Forgetting about the trunk service assignment form on the Mitel has bitten many people many times.

By the way, you might want to consider writing up a procedure for marrying the Asterisk to a Mitel and posting it in the FAQ, as the question comes up from time to time.
