Asterisk PRI to CS1K PRI Phone call to outside

Hi Guys,

I have a situation, i have 2 T1s PRI connected to an Asterisk System, i can dial any extension from any of these systems, but i try to dial from Asterisk to and External phone (other T1) and its not working.

Other friends have told me that from TIE PRI to other TIE PRI does not work, can you guys help me with the requirements in order for this to work??

It will work, you just have to get your config right. Lets see your PRI Trunk, route and DCH config. More than likely an NCOS issue. Are outbound calls from the Asterisk pointed to these PRI's in the Nortel?

What release do you have ?
If cs1000 runs 6 or higher you have two options .
SIP will best options because dont need hardware and most system that runs actual software support SIP
Second option you install QSIG
Needs 1 PRI Card per 30 channels
Protocoll esig is running well
