I managed to setup Asterisk server and two soft phones (x-lite) in local network and that is working ok. Also computer with Asterisk has live IP address and is reachable from internet.
Now when I try to connect trough internet from remote office I successfully login with x-lite, when call is placed phone rings but when I answer I have “Sounds of silence” from both sides, nothing

From asterisk console I have this:
-- Executing Dial("SIP/2001-75b5", "SIP/2003|10|t") in new stack
-- Called 2003
-- SIP/2003-1530 is ringing
-- SIP/2003-1530 answered SIP/2001-75b5
-- Attempting native bridge of SIP/2001-75b5 and SIP/2003-1530
Jun 18 14:44:05 NOTICE[20664]: rtp.c:330 process_rfc3389: Comfort noise
support incomplete in Asterisk (RFC 3389). Please turn off on client if
possible. Client IP: 192.168.0.5
== Spawn extension (from-sip, 2003, 1) exited non-zero on 'SIP/2001-75b5'

Comfort noise (transmit silence no) is off in both x-lite

And just to state that I’m very green with Asterisk

Try using an IAX client namely Dante's IAX SOftphone. IAX will handle the ADSL modem and their NAT's and Firewalls much better than a SIP client.

Let me know how it works.
