Hello,

Is it possible to use Asterisk as an H.323 Music on Hold (MoH) source for another PBX (in particular, Avaya?)

The other (Avaya) PBX would have to be able to use the Asterisk H.323 endpoint in it's regular ACD call flow.

Is this possible?

The Avaya system in question is a G650/S8730 running CM 5.1.2.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Bob

I have used Asterisk behind Avaya for a call center. After trying to get the H323 working, I gave up and used two PRI connections. This worked great. Avaya VDN/Vector pointed calls to Asterisk, worked great.

If I had more time, H.323 probably would have worked, but needed a quick temporary call center for a 3 month customer project.

I see no way the Asterisk could be a MOH source for the Avaya
