Im an environmental scientist trying to put together a line graph plotting time vs. tidal elevations in various monitoring wells. My problem is I cannot get the graph to lay out a nice smooth line graph...it just looks like I took a ruler and connected the dots with straight lines. Is there anyway possible to make the lines "smooth out" so they look more like actually tidal waves rather than extremely exagerrated vertically?

Thanks for the help
Nick

Try plotting a floating average of three values. You can further smooth it by increasing the number of values in the average.
