Assistant receiving Messages for Boss when forwarded

Is there a way to setup a assistant where the bosses phone is forwarded to the assistant and her voicemail will pick up if not answered or on the phone? When I have used forward it will pull the call back to the originating mailbox not the assistant. I have a work around but it takes two buttons. I have the users turn off vm and put on dnd then the call goes to the assistant listed in the icr fallback extension. This requires two buttons to be pushed. Is there an easier was to get this work?
 
You could try using groups. I think it will work if the boss forwards his phone to a group containing the secretary and the 2nd member of this sequential group is a dummy user forwarded to a shortcode and this shortcode ie *620 has a feature of VM collect with a tel number of "#secretary's name". That should force the caller into her mailbox. Have had to create a voip extn at times when creating the new virtual user dependant on sw level.
