Hi All:
I've been doing Option 11 programming for many years, but mostly focus on Set MACs. Simple stuff. I am working on setting up an Option 11 at home to power my collection of Analog phones I've collected over the years. I am having a PRI installed through Windstream sending me 7 digits. I have a PRI/DTI card but there is no clocking card or daughter card. Can you please help me with the following:

1) Is a clocking card or daughter card required:
2) what are the settings for the RDB LD16
3) what are the settings for thee trunks? 14
4) what are the DCH settings?

I appreciate your help. If someone can just post their PRT of their PRI I'd greatly appreciate it.

A clock card is required
Route settings depend on PRI protocol, NI2, Custom, etc
Trunks are built against the route
DCH settings depend on PRI Protocol NI2, Custom, etc

O
Lots of variables here, check with your carrier on the PRI set up

Her is a link to the guide that will walk you through it. Pretty straight forward.

Hi,
When you set up a PRI in an option 11,there is a variety of equipment that you can use. If you already have the hardware, post the part numbers. You will need D Channel programming as well If you use a TMDI card, you should be set. If you use the older DTI/PRI card (NTAK09XX) You will need a dCH daughter board. There are two types, one is programmed DCHI and the other MSDL. All LEC's have different equipment, so settings can vary (B8ZS/ESF/ND2 or the most common)
