I have a number 1234 that is the lead number for an auto attendant.

When you call you have three options

1 goes to 1111
2 goes to 2222
3 goes to 3333

They are all supposed to transfer to the extension.

When I press 1 and 3 it transfers fine. When I press 2 it consistently goes to the caller vmail box and does not transfer to the phone.

I have checked the auto attd setup for 1234 and it is set up as 32 for call mail + ext, and they are all in the same group.

I have used the telephone interface and have even removed option 2 and removed and reset the options for 2 thinking it could just be stuck in programming, but it still does not work.

Any ideas on why it is transferring to the vmail box and not the extension?

Does 2222 have the ext 2222 in the ext number field? Or does 2222 have an extended absent greeting in it?

You should check the routing type for option 2 in the AA. It sounds like option 2 is set to route directly to VM box, and not to the phone.
