Assignment Information Notes

I just discovered that each assignment for a resource has an Assignment Information box (double click on any resource's task in Resource Usage view). And the box has a Notes tab, which is apparently unique to each resource in each task. I am in the process of developing specific Scope of Work language for my subcontractors on a large project (there are about a half-dozen subcontractors, each with 1 to 10 job classifications, and each of the classifications is a resource in the project). I wonder if any one has ever seen a way to report out of Project those Assignment Information Notes. Ideally, I'd like to develop a report that contains their hours of expected work, start/finish dates, and the Assignment Information Note I just discovered. I would imagine this could be a fairly simple way to develop the specific Scope of Work language, keep it close to the project plan, and spit it out to become an exhibit within each subcontractor's agreement.

I didn't see any obvious pre-made reports (using Project Pro 2013), so I'm guessing doing something custom, but would appreciate any insights/guidance. Thanks

The easiest answer is to add the Notes field to the Task Usage view and then print the left side of the view. The Notes field (task, resource, and assignment) added to a table view is limited to 255 characters or the first return, so your notes would need to be short to work in this method.

I believe the only way to export the Notes is through VBA or VB as the notes are stored differently.

You might find the following thread helpful if you decide to explore the VBA route.
I know John is still active in the forum - however, I don't believe he uses Project 2013.
