Using Project 2000:
I've used some of the custom text fields at the assignment level. I'd now like to customize some of the reports to show this information (and ideally sort by it) but can't access the assignment row information. I've entered it in the Task Usage view, and the fields appear properly on the Resource Usage view. Any ideas how I can get this information into a report? Yes I know I can print the views, but those don't give me quite the info I want (cross tab totals, etc.)
Here's the scenario:
Any one Task can require multiple resources, and and one resource can fill multiple roles (but only fills one role / task). Example: Sam is a Business Analyst for the task Requirements Definition, but performs the role of Tester during User Acceptance testing. So - ideally I'd like to be able to generate reports that show tasks where Sam is a tester, and where he's a BA... This is very important because it all tracks back to how the project was budgeted.
Thank you in advance!
