Assigning tasks with Sharepoint

Hi I am running sharepoint 3 on windows server 2003. In outlook if you press ctrl shift u you get an assign task window. My users can then send me a task and it goes to my task list. Is there a way of creating a webpart in Sharepoint to do the same thing please.

ANy help or advice gratefully recieved.
