Assigning multiple resources to one task but at different start times

I am attempting to assign resources to various tasks. To avoid overallocating a resource (in this case welders) I want welder 1 to start welding on 3/13, then when Welder 2 becomes available I want to assign him to start on this same task that welder 1 is working but not until 3/16, and so on as my welders become free. I am running into this allocation issue across my entire project and cannot find a way to assign resources in a cascading fashion. Any specific answers are welcomed, thanks.

Within the Task Usage View you will be able to adjust the Start date for the second resource as well as alter the allocation of work for the two resources.
