Hi,
I logged in as SA, and created a login and user. I then granted the user rights to execute some stored procedures. This was all done using the dialog boxes.

When I returned to the dialog, the execute checkboxes were unchecked. I then wrote a script to do the same thing. The script ran without errors, but again, the permissions weren't set.

Has anyone seen this behavior? Can anyone recommend steps to resolve it? I believe we're up to date on service packs, etc.

Thanks in advance.

This is normal, the client doesn't show the permissions. This thread thread962-1324602 has code which shows how to query this information from the database.
