I'm a voice noob so please bear with me.

We have an MICS 7.0 (SP 30DEC04) with CallPilot 150 (30.00.75.22). I set up a CCR tree that utilizes 5 subscriber mailboxes. All working fine.

For now, there is one person who's in charge of all those mailboxes. I'd like to tie the message indicator light on his extension to all the mailboxes, and also make it easy for him to check all of them.

What would be the best way to accomplish this?
1. I saw something using hunt groups and a Hhuntgroupname source code, but that's for Avaya IP systems. Would MICS' hunt groups be useful?

2. Anything with a CallPilot Group List, maybe?

3. I tried message notification / remote notify so those mailboxes would notify his extension. It didn't work. If that's the way to go, I'll get into details to troubleshoot.

Thanks!

Mailboxes were built to be private.

You can only have one message light per phone.
Unless you have a 2nd phone that does not have a mailbox behind it.

Off Prem is your only option sounds like.

Call Pilot has a group but you need to direct callers to that DN.
*901 as an example when they call in, then that message will be delivered to all mailboxes.

Try this FAQ:
1 Mailbox 2 Extensions faq799-3778

This gives you an Operator extension with voicemail notification and General delivery notification at same extension.

After logging into the box 100, go into admin then press 6 to set up message notification. It will say not initialized, then the screen will show EXT: enter in 221. Then set the times that you want to notify the extension (8am-5pm). After a message is left in mailbox 221, it will show up in the display as 'Msg for you'. If a message is left for mailbox 100, the voicemail will actually call the ext. When the person answers the phone it will say that there is a message for "Genrai Delivery". Then in the screen you'll see a softkey Log in button, press it and log into mailbox 100 and get the message.
