assign an extension

i am trying to assign an ext 561 to a 7310 norstar phone that currently is assigned ext 562. after i go into terminal and sets on admin how do you get this changed. i went to line assignment but when i press feature *0 on users phone it still says ext 561?

it is done under system programming - change DNs

Beware of problems can be encountered using this way of changing DNs. Best waty is by cross connect change.

thanks, i used system programming and now her phone is back to the ext 561 that it was suppose to be, now her vm doesnt pick up when you call her phone ext. back to the drawing board on how to setup vm and number of rings before pick up
