Assembler Compiler and Editor for Linux 64bits

Hello, its my first post here, im trying to get help to make a little program in assembler to run in a Linux 64bits processor machine, can anyone help be to choose a editor and a compiler? Thank you.
 
AS is fine if you give it the right parameters.

YASM supports amd64.

Editor - vi or emacs are fine.

Hi, thanks bigoldbulldog, im trying to a program to run in a supercomputer and id like to multiply 2 big numbers, like i dont have a class for that big numbers in any language and i need speed, id like to make it in assembly, are you expert in assembly or do you know any that could help me?
