aspmail v4 timeout error

I am using aspmail v4 (from ServerObjects.com) with Access 2000 on Windows 2000. Worked fine until recently for no apparent reason it is generating a timeout error.
Anyone seen this yet? Any resolution?

let's see -- I've seen timeout "errors" when one of a few things happen
- concurrent processing was not considered.

- the db is locked by another source

- database hangs due to poor SQL and mapping (access methods)

- connection objects are somehow manipulated (paths changed - names - deleted etc...)

- some how you leaned over and bumped the space bar in a odd place in the code and O' whoops

- IIS *your choice of server) has been changed without your knowledge

- The script is just poorly written and it was a matter of time

- your machine has a hack load of spyware on it and it's not even the asp

- the database is at it's limits (which isn't hard with a desktop db)

and on ...

K..got some more details to what's going on for us to play with and possibly narrow the list to take the, well ... mind reading options out.
