Aspect - How could you!!!

We are trying to make M3 script server work with Aspect UIP (IB and OB programmes) and any call that we send to M3 script server is being considered as a "Connect" by Aspect, even if the calling or called party hangs up before being connected to agent and results in abandoned calls being reported as connects.

Is there a setting that we haven't configured properly or Aspect didn't think through before extending Aspect M3 script server as a production ready product?
