We are looking into purchasing the Aspect CSS IVR. We would be running retail banking applications on it. I am looking for the pros and cons of this system and would appreciate any feedback.

If you are going to move to CSS, I would recommend moving toward the Uniphi IP product; slated for release early next year. It encompasses CSS and all the other goodies out there; ACD, Quality, Dialer, Blaster Campaigns (agentless), IVR, Multi-Media, Web Chat, etc. You can even scale it so if you had a different ACD at this point, you can just purchase the CSS license within Uniphi IP and just upgrade or add-on as needed. What is nice is you start moving toward a central system management point. Although CSS is quite powerful, be sure to check that CSS can talk to all of your backend systems/databases without hoops to jump through. As far as ease of use, the 7.x GUI is very user friendly.
