ASP - Writing to a Access Database

I've created my database and I have no problem running queries or even adding records from ASP, The problem I do have is when I try to add a record that contains characters such as comma's. I can write a full sentence to the database but as soon as I add a Comma to what I'm trying to Add it fails. Any Idea's

This is a common problem if you don't enclose your string in single quotes.

"SELECT * FROM my table WHERE varname = '" & x & "'"
