Hi All,

I have an ASP app, it works fine on my local machine. When I copy to the server, it won't work. Can someone please show me step by step that I need to do. Do I need to install ASP on the server? How?

Thank you in advance.

You need to install IIS on the server. (Internet Information Services)

control panel -> Add/Remove Software -> Windows Components Button -> IIS

And if IIS is already installed, bring up the Admin tool and check to the properties of the file folder where you want to host your ASP application and click the button that says "Create." If you see a button that says "Configuration" instead of "Create" then this step has already been done. (The button-face text changes.)
