I'm currently working a lot with PHP, but I've been asked a few times if I could do work with ASP. Could anybody with experience in both give me a quick run-down of similarities and differences? My limited exposure to ASP code leads me to believe it isn't much different, in terms of how you write the code, just maybe different names for functions and variable types. Also, any recommendations for ASP tutorials from a PHP background would certainly help!

The main difference is that one is perl based and the other visual basic. if you have worked with vb or vba then asp will be easier.
