ASP stopped running suddenly

Hi everybody,
we have IIS5 running on Windows 2000 Server. We have some ASP which did run very well. We tested some smtp setting but put everything back to normal and after that ASP stopped running. If we enter the page via Browser we don't even get an error message, just nothing happens. We don't wan't ot build the whole server up again, has anybody an idea what the cause could be.
