ASP Server Application

Hi,

I have an ASP application that currently generates HTML pages in response to queries from users - what I would like to do is extend the functionality so that it also generates XML which 3rd parties can then incorporate the content transparently in their own site.

My question is: when writing the specification for this functionality is there a commonly accepted phrase that covers this type of processing that I can include in the documentation that would be understood by any parties that may be tendering for the project?
