Hello, I am reporting against an oracle database using 8.5 and am trying to run the report using ASPs but Im getting the "CRAXDRT ERROR 2147192184 Server has not yet been opened" msg. Im not real strong in Oracle but it appears that the asp is not making the connection to the database.
I can open the report on the server using crystal but if I try via ASP I get the error. is the Oracle 8 System DSN Case sensitive? I noticed that the machine I created the reports on had the ODBC source name/username/pw in lower case and the server was in UPPER CASE. Could this be the problem?
How can I test to see if the asp is making the connection?
