Hi
I've got some .ASP pages I want Apache to be able to process. I have Perl from Activestate installed as a module and (I doubt this is relevant) PHP installed aswell. On the Apache-asp.org site it goes on about ASP and mod_perl as if mod_perl does it all for you, but I don't know anything about this and so Im wondering if someone can advise me on the best way to do it. I'm running Win 2k server.

Cheers :)

ASP is not the web scripting language that comes stock with IIS -- that is VBScript.

ASP is a standard set of object interfaces which many programming languages on IIS can use.

The software you have downloaded implements a partial set of the object interfaces in perl. It's not going to run VBScript scripts.

If you find it necessary to run VBScript with Apache, you'll have to install Sun ONE Active Server Pages, which implements a VBScript interpreter. But that is not free software.
