I have some asp code which runs great on my own computer/server. I have a web page that runs a apache linux server. I was wondering if there was a way to run the asp code on my linux server. my server supports front page extensions.

Please let me know if there is a way and how.

thanxs in advance, lali vet

Unfortunately I dont believe this is possible. I had the same problem only a few weeks ago. Apache does not support ASP at all, only Windows platforms do because it was written by microsoft.

The only was you could get around this is to either learn a new language like JSP which will work in apache or link across to a windows server like I had to do.

Chillisoft ASP is designed to run on linux, but my short attempt at using it found it hopeless. It may have been an old version or something I guess, there was something which was fundamentally prohibitive to my application, like no global.asa support, or something like that, I can't remember.

Give it a go maybe?
