Cheers

if all else fails, light it on fire and do the happy dance!

I saw a web page that had a little button that had enter text it then brought up a nice little note page editor but then saved that information into a textarea when returned to the main page.

I was just wondering if there was a component or such but i can't find one ...maybe it was just created

Yes there are many of them, TRACEYMARYLAND.
html area & fckeditor.com are free ones.
there is also an extension for DW and several good looking others like at

I'm a big fan of htmlarea, I use it on a lot of editing sites. Great stuff (if you're using IE).

I also use htmlarea for everything although FCKeditor has a lot more features & suppose to be working in Mozilla/Firefox.
...but I couldn't make it to work on some of my existing pages in 'textarea replacing' mode.

It was not an editor i was looking for .
It was a utility that when an actual web page displays...
The user pops up a little area that they can type in their text.......paragraphs.....also like an note pad then when the user saves the info it writes it to your database...
