asp newbie - registration form

hey guys - i'm new to asp and wondering if you guys had any good tutorial sites or good books that you would recommend for a beginner. I have the beginning asp.net by wrox. I am actually trying to create a user registration form here and wondering if anyone can help me on that. Thanks for the help
