Hi,
I want to learn asp.net. I have browsed some, but none of them suits for me. I have done programming in access 2000 and I have done a bit databse in sql 2000. But none of them prepared me for asp.net. I really need to build my current access 2000 to asp.net. Since I'm really new to asp.net, I really need some guidance on step by step on how to create a simple programming in asp.net using visual studio.net 2003 with sql 200 as the database. I open the visual studio.net, and relly at lost on how to use it.
Appreciate if someone understand my problem and tell me where I could find url that could explain novice like me on developing asp.net using sql 2000 as the database.
thanks

ranijee: Of course you can drop by here anytime; many of us here have years of experience with Access databases, SQL, etc. Also you can use the "Search" page here and review hundreds of threads discussed over the last several years. Keep in mind Google Groups, and general web browsing. Don't forget to purchase 2 or 3 good books on ASP.NET; they are worth their weight in gold when you are learning. Do a search here for "books" for recommended authors.

When people are looking to learn .NET I always recomend
It'll cost you $30 to subscribe but for that you get a ton of videos that take you through the basics and then onto more advanced stuff.

Worth $30 of anyone's money in my opinion.
