ASP.NET on a Web Parts page?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom Sharepoint page to wrap around an application I've made, which I've been able to do - however I'm having a lot of trouble in creating a custom page that also has web part zones for further customization. Is such a thing possible?

how about creating a new aspx page with webpart zones in frontpage?
