ASP.NET 2.0

I use ASP 3.0 and will soon be moving to ASP.NET.

I've read a bit on ASp.NET 2.0 and I am wondering if it's available for use now?

Does it require a different ver. of the .NET framework?

What version of Visual Studio is best for ASP.NET 2.0 development?

It was just made available in Beta 1 form to MSDN subscribers. I'm not sure it it's publicly available, but it probably is. Check

It requires v2.0 of the framework.

VS 2005 ("Whidbey") is the IDE of choice for ASP.NET 2.0

So far all the downloads for the .NET 2.0 Beta versions are for a 64 bit machine. Is there some way to make this 64 bit application work on a 32 bit machine ?

No. 64 bit programs require 64 bit machines to run on.

I know that the MDSN subscriber downloads have 32-bit downloads available.
