I'm involved in the designing of an Intranet at work and we'd like to use some ASP Scripts to make the site more dynamic. We will have a maximum of 200-250 users accessing the site. I was hoping someone could tell me if MS Access databases would cope or buckle under the strain.

I've read that MS Access starts to struggle when only a few users access these databases via ASP pages.

Is this just as true for a forum script where data is being added all the time, as it is for a news script where data is added once or twice a day? Or can a news script be viewed by more users without experiencing too many problems?

Any feedback on this issue would be much appreciated.
