asp:Menu 2.0 control rendering in Firefox3

I am experiencing that Firefox 3 seems to stick an extra blank line at the top of any asp Menu control on my aspx pages. Has anyone else observed this? Why does it do that? Can it be fixed? how?

most likely it's how the browser renders the html. some CSS and possibly js should be able to mend that. check out forum215 for CSS help.
