ASP LinkParser?

I'm having to pull data from a SQL Server 7 Database and when I pull this data and put it on a site, this data may have links typed into the text. Such as

http://www.tek-tips.com

or

http://www.tek-tips.com.

I would like to turn these into links automatically, but I cant seem to write the function to do it.

Does anyone out there, have a function that will do this? Or any type of algorithm that can help me accomplish it?
