ASP,IIS, & Components

Hi,

I would like to manipulate a powerpoint file using ASP.

I am told that I will need to install the actual component to do this on the server. Do I just install
Powerpoint on the server and then I'll be able to create a Powerpoint object?

I don't know much about installing components which I can use at the server-end, can anyone help?

Are you sure you want to manipulate Powerpoint with ASP or would you rather do it with VBscript?

I don't really know VBscript, only JavaScript and I need find a solution now.

Do you know how I can register a powerpoint component with IIS?
