I am new to the idea of active server pages and I am trying to create a member registration asp and then a members only section. I am following a three-part tutorial that i found on
and i have created a database but I am consured where the asp coding actually is placed. When I add the code to the page it appears on the page as text.

I have been looking on the net and I am really looking for a very good introduction to asp pages tutorial. Does anyone know of a good site or faq article?

Thank you very much in advance!

did you have the extension of your page as .asp??..also place your file on the server...i mean...put it in the Inetpub/ folder

thank you very much! i really appreciate it! i can't wait to check it out.

Youe ASP file needs to be on a server that supports ASP. If it's your own local IIS server then make sure that ASP is running
