asp form submitted have results exported to .xls

Is it possible when an asp form is submitted, i.e. at page ysawyomont.com/contact.htm, when the user fills out the fields and hits submit to have the results exported to a spreadsheet or another form other than what it emailed from the user on the .To line of script?

The big problem is creating a spreadsheet from a web page. Web security does not allow you to run a program automatically. Also, not everyone has excel.

What you can do from the server side is something else. If excel is installed on the server, you could create the excel sheet from there, and possibly download it to the user for mailing in the response.
