16MB for this?
Dave?

Before I have a look at it... What are the specific problems?
If it concerns the form... Dave is the specialist on that!
You'll still have to wait that he wakes up again.
He did once today... But seems to have vanished, a few minutes later!

The problems with the flash file are that the page doesn't seem to work with the asp file at all, I don't know what I've done wrong, but whenever I upload it and test it, the page sits there saying 'sending data...' and there is no further activity, I don't receive an e-mail with the information on it as I should, and I don't even receive a message saying it has been sent!

Hi danny,

back for 2 again before I go to lunch with the father-in-law.
.......checking ASP.......

Two simple questions:

Does your server support ASP?
Would you consider altering the ASP to utilise an SMTP server?

I'm pretty sure my server - I'm using netbenefit for web space (and uk2.net for the name) supports ASP, I would consider anything, I've been working on this site for quite some time now, and am close to completion. One of the latest updates can be seen at . I would consider anything that is easy and can be applied quite quickly. Thanks for your help!

hi again danny

upload this simple file to your server, then try opening it through your server. If you get an intelligible response, you'll be sure that you're server can cope with ASP.

Don't think that link is letting you download, so, put the following in notepad and save as 'something.asp'. Upload it to your server and test it. If you see a number when you test it then you know that your server can cope with ASP.

<HTML>
<BODY>
Output:<BR>
<%
intS = 60*60
%>
There are
<%
Response.Write intS
%>
seconds in an hour.
</BODY>
</HTML>

hi danny

I've just been to netbenefit and had a look at what they offer. If you have a look at

you'll find that they support PHP, which hints (but doesn't guarantee) that they don't support ASP.

Consequently, I would suggest you have a look at the FAQ I made on PHP forms. Let me know your results.

Thanks - unfortunately, your asp file didn't work, there were no numbers displayed, and I have no evidence that it works. Is php easy to use? What's the url for your faq? Do you know if there are any free web servers (like Geocities) that support it that I could use?

you said earlier that you were using &quot;netbenefit&quot; for web space and the link I gave above is a netbenefit faq page saying that they support PHP.

To get to my FAQ just click on the FAQ tab at the top of this page and look for the FAQ on creating a form. If you supply your e-mail I'll zip a form to you with PHP3 enclosed to reflect your e-mail.
