ASP + DLL+ SPs + SQL --> How I can store a datatype varchar > 255

Hi,
I have a problem.
I need store a datatype varchar > 255, using ASP + DLL +
stored procedure in the SQL.
When I used MDAC 2.1 and command object.CreateParameter, I
had a sucessfull stored. But I don't obtain the same
results with MDAC 2.6.
I don't know if I have to setup anything or ...
Please, I hope that someone help me.
