ASP and Search Engines

Does anyone know if web spiders have a difficult time reading and indexing ASP pages?

I have heard that some of them won't do asp pages for fear of being caught in some kind of loop. Can anyone verify this?

I can't verify this for sure, but it makes sense to me. One of the biggest problems with ASP is that it's so easy to write crappy code.
